How We Use Your Information
The information we collect is used for the following purposes: processing your registration and verifying your identity, managing your account and transactions, complying with regulatory requirements under NLGRB license NLGRB-CS-26-0195, detecting and preventing fraudulent activity, providing customer support, and sending you relevant platform updates and promotional communications where you have opted in to receive them.
Data Security
ChopWin Uganda implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Your login credentials are encrypted and your financial transactions are processed through secure, locally approved payment methods. We do not store full payment details on our servers.
Data Sharing
ChopWin Uganda does not sell your personal data to third parties. We may share your information with regulatory authorities when required by law, or with trusted service providers who assist in operating the platform, strictly under confidentiality agreements. All third parties with whom we share data are required to handle it in accordance with applicable privacy standards.
Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account remains active and for a reasonable period thereafter as required by Ugandan law and regulatory obligations. If you request account closure, your data will be retained for the minimum period required by law before being securely deleted.
